COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Community engagement is a cornerstone for comprehensive planning. Working alongside and gathering feedback from community leaders, stakeholders, businesses owners, and residents allows a plan to truly represent the vision of the community. Insights from community knowledge, ideas, and values will help ensure this plan reflects the unique character and potential of Warrick County. Throughout 2023, there will be several opportunities for the public to provide input on the comprehensive plan. Updates on an upcoming public meeting date, public surveys, and other ways to provide input will be posted here.
MEETING IN A BOX
SET UP YOUR OWN MEETING!
Are you looking to share your input on the Comprehensive Plan? Use this Meeting In a Box activity to provide feedback on the plan's Future Land Use Map and the Goals, Strategies, and Action Steps that will help achieve the plan's vision for Warrick County's future. You can complete this activity individually or get a group together.
You can do this in three easy steps:
1. Download or print the Meeting in a Box and the accompanying Facilitator's Guide. If you have a group of people, you can either print one copy to fill out as a team or print multiple copies to fill out independently.
2. Follow the Facilitator's Guide and the directions in the packet to share your feedback - feel free to skip any topics that you want.
3. Submit your completed responses by email a PDF or photos of your worksheet to APC@warrickcounty.gov
INTERACTIVE DISPLAY
A TRAVELING EXHIBIT
The interactive display will be traveling to different locations throughout the month of October to get feedback from community members on the big ideas from the Comprehensive Plan draft. Keep an eye out so you can share your comments!
